The 54Trees’ grading system offers reputable, non-biased grades to measure a product quality on its own merit AND compare it to our catalogue of existing products.
Our grading system is a composite score built up from a set of characteristics that we, along with other industry experts, have defined over the last 20 years.
We assign points to a product’s essential, potency and aesthetic characteristics. Each characteristic set has several sub-sets, which are each evaluated individually. Those points are then used to populate our weighted scoring system, and an overall GRADE is produced. The highest grade is an AA and the lowest is a D.
The 54Trees Grade assures consumers that the products they buy have gone through a rigorous review process by highly-skilled graders & auditors that follow the official grade standards and process standards developed, maintained and interpreted by good agricultural production standards.
